The human consists of four main lobes: the frontal, occipital, temporal and parietal. Each lobe has its own special function; yet, they all work together and complement one another. The frontal lobe in the human brain is distinctive from that of animals since it includes centres that direct speech and behaviour. It includes certain neural centres with distinctive functions including the pre-frontal cortex which lies exactly behind the forehead and forms the major part of the frontal lobe. The pre-frontal cortex is related to the formation of a person's character, influencing initiative and judgment. The Broca area coordinates the processing of producing speech from the larynx, tongue and face. The frontal lobe also contains the movement zones, including the frontal eye field which sustains organized movement of the eye to the opposite direction. And the primary and secondary motor areas control deliberate movements of the muscles. This means that the frontal lobe directs behaviour and shapes human personality.
The secret behind the quoted verse was known only recently. The Quran mentioned the area of the forehead as lying and sinful. It is only fitting that this part of the boy which monitors behaviour will be held accountable for one's deeds.
