Bang...Bang...Kill him, quick kill him and with this the sound of an airstrike shook the city, once again. Cries of the children and women emerged from everywhere, some got stuck and some cried to death lying under the rubble for ages until they were pulled out by the White Helmet team. Ambulances rushing to and fro, carrying the injured to the hospital. A 2-day old child becoming an orphan and a couple losing their child whom they were blessed with after 10 years of marriage. Sigh, what sort of a state is our ummah in these days? Allahuakber!
Ya Ummati, the land of the beloved is literally tearing apart. He once said; “Behold, indeed the heart of the abode of the believers is al-Sham.” [Ahmed]
He had never seen the people of that land but loved them so much. He even predicted what will happen to them and that how a war will break out.
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: “There will be such troubles and calamities that nobody will have a place to shelter from them. These calamities will travel around Sham and settle over Iraq. They will bind the Arabian Peninsula…As they attempt to eliminate these calamities in one place they will arise again in another.” (Kanzul Ummal, Book of Some Thoughts on Doomsday, Vol. 5, p. 38-39)
O people, don’t you think that this is literally the current situation of these palces? The people there are dying either because of the weather or the daily airstrikes or lack of proper health care or brutal hunger. They are our brothers and sisters in Islam. They’re crying out for help. Numberless children get poisoned by the chlorine gas bombs or cluster bombs hit them killing them and blowing up their bodies into pieces. Countless sisters are being raped and set on fire and men are being shot until their soul leaves their body. These people need our help, our donations and our prayers. Only making du’a won’t help, we need to stand with them and for them. It’s their right as we’re one ummah.
How long will they live as refugees or live under siege? Don’t they yearn to sleep peacefully and wake up to the sound of birds chirping rather than to the deafening roar of airstrikes? They are humans like us. They aren’t animals. Aauzubillah! May Allah protect them. They are facing hardships and are living in such circumstances that half of the city is dying and the other half is celebrating.
If u can’t send your men folk into the battle field then at least try to help them in all possible ways. And yes, Ummati, establish the prayer… the only way by which we might get victory. Yes we will, if only we struggle hard to improve our Salah and fulfill the rights of Allah. It’s always easier said than done but struggling is always worthwhile because victory isn’t based on protests, politics, rather, victory is in the hands of Allah… promised by Him. It is based on some conditions and once you fulfill them you’ll win. And those conditions are:
“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient.
And establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger - that you may receive mercy.” [55, 56]
In sha Allah our efforts will pay off and once again the ummah will become united and one, together on one platform as it was 1438 years ago.
P.S: I know many readers might not like the topic I’ve chosen but this is reality that I’m telling you. Please my fellow sisters and brothers, help the Ummah.
